Saginaw, MI- Mother Doris Bothuel transitioned from servanthood to her heavenly reward peacefully on Sunday, July 28th, 2019 at the blessed age of 92. Mother Bothuel served as the First Lady of Bethlehem for 29 years from 1985 to 2014 alongside her husband our Founding Pastor; the late Reverend Ernest Bothuel. She also served faithfully in the music ministry where her favorite song was “Get Right Church” In 2016, Mother Bothuel was recorded in our historical records as the Frist Lady Emeritus.
Mother Bothuel service reached beyond the walls of the church by using her gifts through being an effective licensed cosmologist, humanitarian, prayer warrior and most of all a true worshipper. Her endurance and faithfulness to keep fighting speaks volumes of what a true Woman of God should be, has left an indelible mark on the lives of generations to come.
“We honor the life and legacy of Mother Doris Bothuel, whose service to the Kingdom of God was exemplified by her strong faith and whose dedication touched the lives of so many in our Saginaw Community and beyond. “We mourn Mother Bothuel’s transition, yet we rejoice at her life and Christian legacy and for her authentic selfless service, we express our heartfelt gratitude, condolences, and prayers to her entire loving family.
